ARTIFACTS LAB MANAGER

Scott Parker-Oliver (M.A.A. in Applied Anthropology, University of Maryland; B.A. in History, McDaniel College) serves as a Laboratory Manager in the Alexandria VCP. Scott has worked as a field and laboratory technician on a variety of sites and projects in the Mid-Atlantic Region, including several seasons of work with the Montpelier Foundation. With a research emphasis on faunal remains and historic dietary practices, Scott has also served as a Laboratory Manager and Faculty Assistant for the University of Maryland Zooarchaeology Lab.
