The Augusta Veterans Curation Program laboratory has processed a variety of collections belonging to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile District. These collections are housed at the Office of Archaeological Research (O.A.R.) at the Moundville site in Alabama, at the University of Georgia, and at the Cobb Institute of Archaeology at Mississippi State University. Veterans working at the Augusta facility have processed over 390 boxes of artifacts, preserved more than 13 linear feet of documents, and taken over 3,055 photographs of historic and prehistoric artifacts.
